Serdar Erdem
Serdar Suer Erdem received his Ph.D. degree in November 2001
from the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering at Oregon
State University under the direction of Prof. Çetin K. Koç.
Serdar received his B.S. (1992) degree from the
Electrical and
Electronics Engineering Department
in Bogazici University
and M.S. (1995) degree from the
Electrical Engineering Department
in Pennsylvania State University.
Serdar's research interests are in finite field and elliptic curve
arithmetic. He worked on various projects related to finite fields, error
control codes, and information theory. Serdar is currently an
Assistant Professor at
Gebze Institute of Technology in Turkey.
